Being able to work at ease in foreign contexts has proven to be a key employability element for VET students. Teaching and learning methodologies, such as CLIL, have allowed VET students and teachers to get used to using a foreign language in class, resulting in a better provision to VET students of one of the key work competences: the knowledge of a foreign language deeply contextualised in a specific work environment.
Therefore, the “Teaching methodologies for VET lessons: The CLIL approach” online workshop will introduce CLIL teaching practices, CLIL training for teachers and a CLIL community for VET teachers all over Europe. The event will take place on 2 July and is organized by the Government of Catalonia and EARLALL in the context of the VET’s CLIL project.
