It was an empathy session to bear in mind the targets of their learning scenario.<\/p>\n<p>In the last part of the first session participants shared their first impressions and presentations in a plenary session.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>20th May 2021<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Teams were working offline in-between sessions. They identified points of interest as the starting point to tackle the development of the learning scenario.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ideation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After this, they selected the three main action lines among the points of interest and developed them into six similar ideas, but with different implementations. A quick agreement provided the most suitable idea to prototype.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fast prototyping<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A graphic visualization of the idea helped to develop the prototype. A two-minute presentation of each one resumed the brainstorming and definition of challenges into ideas, suitable to be landed in a classroom.<\/p>\n<p>The groups developed their ideas in-between sessions.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>25th May 2021<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The teams introduced their prototypes and evolutions in a plenary session.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-8403\" src=\"https:\/\/projectes.xtec.cat\/eduhackathon\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu2512\/2021\/06\/20210518-hack-6-1024x503.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"503\" srcset=\"https:\/\/projectes.xtec.cat\/eduhackathon\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu2512\/2021\/06\/20210518-hack-6-1024x503.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/projectes.xtec.cat\/eduhackathon\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu2512\/2021\/06\/20210518-hack-6-300x147.jpg 300w, https:\/\/projectes.xtec.cat\/eduhackathon\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu2512\/2021\/06\/20210518-hack-6-768x377.jpg 768w, https:\/\/projectes.xtec.cat\/eduhackathon\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu2512\/2021\/06\/20210518-hack-6.jpg 1591w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pollination<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All teams were divided into smaller groups that travelled across the different breakout rooms to give feedback to their peers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Refinement<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Participants shared good ideas detected in other teams and prototypes, as well as difficulties and suggestions of improvement.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Storytelling<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Each team designed a layout to explain their own projects and recorded a short video. This gives an outlook on the new reality in the classroom, after school lockdowns, and also about the needs on teacher training.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>EduHackathons were something new for the majority of the participants, 92% of them.<br \/>\nFor over 60% of them, the EduHackathon was what they had imagined, although they didn\u2019t have previous experients. However, the majority of participants who didn\u2019t know what to expect or didn\u2019t imagine something like that felt satisfied with the proposal. Participants have shared<br \/>\nwith us comments such as:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>\u201cIt was better than I thought.\u201d<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u201cI think it was more than I expected. It was a really engaging and <\/em><em>enriching experience! I had the opportunity of working togethe <\/em><em>with amazing people from different countries in Europe and I&#8217;ve <\/em><em>learned a lot from them. We shared experiences from our school <\/em><em>contexts and learning scenarios. I enjoyed it a lot! Using a <\/em><em>creative and digital approach to design a learning scenario, with <\/em><em>my fantastic team, just great!\u201d<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u201cIt was even beyond my expectations, the onsite dynamics and <\/em><em>interactions were very well replicated online.\u201d<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u201cEDUHackathon was very dynamic and interesting.
