Celebrat per primera vegada el 1974, ha estat una campanya ins\u00edgnia per a la sensibilitzaci\u00f3 sobre les noves q\u00fcestions ambientals de la contaminaci\u00f3 de la mar i l&#8217;escalfament global, el consum sostenible i els delictes contra la natura. Cada any, es basa en un tema nou que les grans corporacions, ONG, comunitats, governs i celebritats de tot el m\u00f3n adopten per promoure causes ambientals.
