Fisher, I. Wilkinson i D. Leat, proposa una s\u00e8rie d\u2019activitats per aprendre hist\u00f2ria i, a la vegada, desenvolupar destreses de pensament. Aquestes destreses es poden aplicar a l\u2019aprenentatge de temes hist\u00f2rics, per\u00f2 s\u00f3n transferibles a altres mat\u00e8ries. Amb aquesta finalitat, el llibre proposa combinar situacions d\u2019interacci\u00f3 i de treball independent.<\/p>\n<p>Dos exemples de les propostes del llibre:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Misteris: a trav\u00e9s de tres exemples, es proposen activitats per desenvolupar la interpretaci\u00f3 d\u2019informaci\u00f3, la discriminaci\u00f3 d\u2019informaci\u00f3 rellevant i irrelevant, la classificaci\u00f3, les connexions entre informacions diferents, l\u2019elaboraci\u00f3 d\u2019hip\u00f2tesis i la comprovaci\u00f3. Els exemples plantegen l\u2019estudi de casos, contextualitzats en moments hist\u00f2rics identificables: l\u2019\u00e8xode rural de la primera revoluci\u00f3 industrial, el moviment obrer i la primera guerra mundial.<\/li>\n<li>L\u2019element desaparellat: l\u2019alumnat apr\u00e8n a identificar semblances i difer\u00e8ncies entre termes del vocabulari acad\u00e8mic i, seguidament, a classificar termes. Aquestes estrat\u00e8gies fomenten l\u2019\u00fas apropiat de la terminologia espec\u00edfica.
