Les 7.45 del matí, l’equip educatiu de l’escola Vorbasse ens ha acollit al seu centre. 

Docents, infants i joves ens han ofert un matí de descoberta pedagògica i dels espais del centre amb la il·lusió d’explicar-nos la seva experiència educativa. 

Nosaltres com a ambaixadors del programa STEAMcat+ a Dinamarca hem estat contents d’explicar-los la nostra experiència en relació a les STEAM i compartir converses amb els professionals en relació a l’ús de la impressió 3d, la robòtica i la programació a partir de la sobredotació que tenen com a centre gràcies al seu emplaçament privilegiat al costat de l’origen de la factoria i altres propostes com les màquines de cosir, la cuina, CNC,…

Algunes conclusions, pensament i reflexions que hem compartit avui són les següents:

  • L’espai exerceix d’educador i fomenta l’autonomia dels infants i joves.
  • Els professionals exerceixen com a mentors i facilitadors que acompanyen els infants en els seus projectes.
  • La planificació dels itineraris dels infants és clau en el seu desenvolupament. Compartir-ho amb els infants ens ajuda a crear significats i camins compartits.
  • La creativitat i conceptes com learning by doing són escencial en el centre que avui hem conegut.
  • La inversió pública en educació és necessària

Chronicle of a discovery of the Danish education system.

Today at 7.45 in the morning, the educational team of the Vorbasse school welcomed us at its center.

Teachers, children and young people have offered us a morning of pedagogical discovery and of the spaces of the center explaining us very willingly their educational experience.

We, as ambassadors of the STEAMcat + project in Denmark, have been happy to explain our experience in relation to STEAM. We have shared conversations with professionals regarding the use of 3D printing, robotics and programming bearing in mind that they are a unique school thanks to its privileged location next to the origin of the Lego factory and other proposals such as sewing machines, the kitchen, or CNC.

Some conclusions, thoughts and reflections that we have shared today are the following:

  • The space acts as an educator and promotes the autonomy of children and young people.

  • Professionals act as mentors and facilitators who accompany children in their projects.

  • Planning children’s itineraries is key to their development. Sharing it with children helps us create shared meanings and paths.

  • Creativity and concepts such as learning by doing are essential at the center we know today.

  • Public investment in education is needed
